OK, so the question is....what was the best ad campaign of this years Superbowl? I've listed some of the top picks so far from this year. One of my personal favorites was an ad from Google titled, "Parisian Love". It was a simple yet effective advertisement on the abilities of the worlds largest search engine to help us navigate our lives. The ad is about an American who finds love in Paris and utilizes Google to help him make arrangements to meet his new found love. On the comedy side were the Doritos ads which were all a hit and extremely hilarious, especially the "Snack Attack"! With that said, check them out and feel free to comment on your favorite ad. The cost for a :30 second advertisement for this years Superbowl was around $3 million per :30 second spot. Budweiser lead the way with 8 total ads, some of those being a minute in length.

News Corp. chairman Rupert Murdoch said, "I'm sure there have been some conversations" between Fox and Conan O'Brien to start a late night show at the network. "But if you mean real negotiations, no," he added. Murdoch said networks will have to have continuing talks with affiliates about slipping Conan into an 11/11:30 spot. "There are differing opinions within the network," Murdoch said. Right now, many affiliates air repeats that are profitable for them, according to Murdoch.
"It will take time to adjust," he said, about talks with affiliates. Murdoch added that if Fox knew they could create a successful late night show with Conan, that the affiliates would agree to, we'd "do it in a flash," he said. "I'm speculating, we'll have to wait and see," he said.

I have a feeling Conan is counting his money as we speak. Over the course of 8 months, Conan hosted 160 shows. This means, he was paid $206,250 per show! And his staffers are walking away with their current contracts, plus $60,000 in severance pay. I think everyone made out OK on this deal except for NBC!
Turn that frown upside down Conan, you are walking away with $45 million! With all due respect, I think Conan is walking away from the "Tonight Show" with class and integrity. One of Conan’s last few words: “All I ask of you is one thing: please don’t be cynical. I hate cynicism — it’s my least favorite."

What Was Your Favorite Superbowl Commercial?

Conan O'Brien at Fox? Rupert Murdoch Says We'd 'Do It In A Flash'

Conan O'Brien seals $45 million deal to quit "The Tonight Show"
NBC said it has reached a $45 million deal with Conan O’Brien for his exit from the “Tonight Show,” allowing Jay Leno to return to the late-night program he hosted for 17 years. Under the deal, which came less than eight months after O’Brien took the reins from Leno, O’Brien will get more than $33 million, NBC said. The rest will go to his 200-strong staff in severance.
